Our Heritage Free Will Baptist AWANA Clubs begin August 27th, 2008. We meet at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday night. An AWANA Registration Form should be completed for each child and returned to ensure your child has a spot for the upcoming AWANA year. Registration this year is $60 for each child. The $60 includes their first book and dues for the year. Please make your check payable to Heritage Free Will Baptist Church. Click on the AWANA Registration Form link at the bottom of this page for a registration form to print and fill out. Our clubs are as follows:
At Heritage, our AWANA Clubs are part of more then 13,000 AWANA Clubs, which operate around the world. These community clubs are open to all youths and have children attending from many different faiths and churches. While your child will not be required to attend other functions of our church, all the services and opportunities of the church are open to your family. The weekly AWANA Club consists of three parts: Games, Achievements, and Counsel Time (singing and a Bible Lesson). If this is your childs first visit to our AWANA Clubs, he or she will be receiving an Entrance Test, which is the first step in AWANA Achievements. We hope you will help them complete this. After the Entrance Test is completed, a clubber is eligible to earn more achievement awards and to purchase their uniform and book. We want to cooperate with you in providing well-balanced physical, social, mental and spiritual activities for your child.
